You SoundCloud, please don’t let me cry !
Particularly after starting to record my drumming cover sessions for 6 songs so far, I’m starting to love SoundCloud.
Apparently as the free service SoundCloud gives to free account for 2 hours in length of music or records uploaded onto their server this seems to be very limit in some sense.
At first, I thought it would be totally free-of-charge service but when around my 3rd or 4th song, I know that it won’t be true.
I then went to look for their premium plan.

Ohh no, only plan that can give you unlimited upload is Pro Plus which is totally out of my reach.
You may guess Lite plan would be a fit plan. As 29 pounds per year, you cloud upload twice the Free plan and after exceed it, you just re-subscript ! NO, IS THE ANSWER.
After looked at their FAQ, it won’t be that way.
Subscription for theirs is only to secure the previous uploading time and be able to continue using service, it won’t reset your time back to zero. This lets me cry T T
Nonetheless, I stick to this service until my time exceeds. That would be another 10-15 songs starting at my 7th uploading.
Hope til then, their service would be changed or something (I guess no).

- Anyway there’s still a solution out there, and one of possibilities is to upload to Youtube. This is not totally clean solution as the content over Youtube must be adhered to license or copyright terms.
I won’t say my content is not legal, I credit to those artists authoring all of those songs I used in drum covering sessions. Another big issue is video file format. I read its appropriate video settings here.
I have messed around trying to figure out which video file format exported out from iMovie will be best suit to theirs service. But no luck for now. Although the videos are successfully upload to their server, but in every interval of time along the track, there’s some glitches of sound all over it. This is very frustrating.
