Singapore for BigFish Game Conference & Meeting 2011 trip : Part 1
Since quite a long time that I’m trying to write a blog post about a trip to Singapore for Business and my own sake’s chilling stuff.
And now, it’s time to finish it though. HOORAYYYY !!
The whole story began after I thought my life is so limited in the boundary of same same story. I see lots of similar routine, no more new ideas, lack of inspiration, that’s too much so I decided to shift the way to get out of boredom. It’s time to go abroad and see something else !
According to that particular of time while I’m deciding where to go which should serve both the business term in game industry and of course the fun factor, there’s an active group called TGDC - Thailand Game Developer Corners (https://www.facebook.com/groups/thaigamepad/).
TDGC is an open group, anyone in the game industry in Thailand is suggested to join. One of the member in the group posted about conference held in Singapore and it’s called “BigFish Game Conference & Meeting 2011”.

No doubt, this is a great opportunity. So I’m join this sake !
For brief, Big Fish can help publishing and distributing your casual games. With its well known entity and popular reaching the hands of target audience, this will help a lot. Not only the channel benefit, but also the designing + testing + marketing in which Big Fish can help. They’re all part of the process to get your game got published in their channel.
This trip is during 28 September - 1 Oct, 2011 with the following schedule.

That’s it. I have 1 whole day on 28 September getting to know more about the city, and a half day on 1 Oct to wrap things up before flying back to Thailand.
As you can see from the schedule, there’s one session about business matching in which you can talk to Big Fish and show-off your game be ready to pass along the process and get publishing by them. I realized that I’m the least experienced about this stuff among the people attended this event, I’m the youngest with no firm game developers team. I come here to listen, learn, and take back as much as possible from what I already have. So there’s no turning back ! (much of this, I am starting to thinking before the starting of 2nd day in which the situation gets more serious and deep down into business sense :)
