RealKo, 3d framework back in 2009
RealKo Engine is created for flight control simulation of Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand used by Officers to train in communicating and controlling flight during taking in/off.
It’s 3 months project with me as a lead programmer working with another guy as a 3D modeler.
The engine features the following aspects.
- Deferred Shading
- Weather effect simulation (Raining, snow, and hot/normal season)
- Particle system to simulate the events such as explode, fire, fog, and moving smoke, etc.
- Smooth transition between weather effect
- Dynamic light and shadow
- Customized shadow mapping
- Control mutiple lights in airport.
- Day time transition
- Sky dome with dynamic moving cloud texture
- On-the-fly applying of post-processing of bloom effect with multiple different of settings
- Configurable texture set (diffuse, normal, specular, and emissive map) for each mesh of airport model via configuration file.
- Anti-Aliasing with DLAA.
- Currently support Suvarnabhumi Airport, and Yangon International Airport.
See video presentation below.
